The old door had rotted panels and a bent track. We removed and hauled away the original, installed a new insulated steel door with fresh tracks, rollers and hardware, then balanced and tested the whole system before leaving.
The door had jumped its track and was hanging crooked. We re-seated the rollers, straightened the track, replaced the damaged brackets and re-tensioned the cables so both sides lift evenly again.
A snapped torsion spring left the door too heavy to lift. We replaced both springs as a matched pair, re-wound them to the correct tension for the door weight, and checked the cables and drums while we were in there.
The old chain drive had stripped its gears. We fitted a quiet belt-drive opener with battery backup, programmed the remotes and exterior keypad, aligned the safety sensors and set the travel and force limits.
A full-view aluminium and glass door to match a contemporary build. We sized the opening, sourced the door, reinforced the header hardware and installed a heavy-duty operator rated for the extra weight.
