It is often a five-minute fix. Call before you buy a new opener.
When a door stops responding, the opener is not always the culprit — misaligned safety sensors and bad travel settings account for a lot of calls. We test the whole chain before recommending a replacement, and when a new opener is the right answer we install it, program the remotes and keypad, and set the limits properly.
Opener services we provide:
Plenty of openers we get called out to are fine. A sensor knocked out of line by a bicycle, a force setting drifted out of range, a dead remote battery — all cheap fixes. We check those first, and only recommend a new unit when the motor or gearbox is genuinely done.
“Half the openers we are called to replace do not need replacing. We would rather tell you that.”
